A very stylish and elegant statue (patinated / silvered spelter) of a young woman lying with her Borzoi dog. The statue is signed - L. Bruns - this is most likely a pseudonym of a well-known Art Deco sculptor. Refined and sophisticated, this classy woman lays in a comfortable and relaxed position, her arm behind her Borzoi dog. Her hair is short, she is fully nude. This statue is signed on the marble terrace and it has a foundry stamp with "Fabrication en France, Paris" on it. This foundry stamp is visible on the back of the dog. The base (55 x 15 cm) of the figurine is made of 1 cm thick Nero Portoro marble, a gold – white veined black marble from Italy and a 3 cm thick Sienna Giallo marble. The figurine will be carefully packed.
