Original '60s Picnic Ball', designed by Carlo Viglino.
This is the first variant, original, completely in perfect new condition.
Iconic 70s vintage Guzzini Picnic ball, made of sturdy plastic.
Ingenious spherical space age design, which opens up into two large bowls for salad, etc.
Contains everything you need for a great picnic party:
- 6 soup / fruit plates,
6 large plates,
6 smaller plates,
1 tray with drinks,
- 6 drinking glasses,
salt and pepper
and even an oil and vinegar cruet.
and the 2 spherical halves can be used as a salad bowl
Company logo with "Guzzini per Alimenti" and "Made in Italy"
Good condition of age. Hardly used, or not at all.
Hardly any discolouration, some fine surface wear on some of the plates but in a superb condition for its age.
The outside of the ball looks shiny with hardly any wear.
Measurements: 23.5 cm high and 27 cm wide
Weight: almost 2.7 kg.
The weight is a crucial element to identify that it is an early, original version.
