Cleopatra statue (Merlini 418) of plaster - Vintage bust

Offered is a vintage Pharaoh sculpture of plaster from approximately the 1950s. The bust represents the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra. Her full name was Cleopatra VII Philopator and she lived from January 69 B.C. – 12 August 30 B.C. She was Queen of ancient Egypt. She is by far the best known of the many eponymous Egyptian Queens and is usually simply called Cleopatra. The story of Cleopatra has fascinated many writers and artists throughout the centuries. No doubt that much of her appeal is derived from her legend as a great temptress who was able to seduce and commit the two most powerful men of her time (Caesar and Antony). The sculpture is in a good condition with, of course, some minor signs of wear; No breakage, no cracks, no glue etcetera!! Please see all the photos for an accurate impression. These photos are a part of this description. The height is approximately 37 cm and it is approx. 26 cm in width. The weight is approx.2423 grams. At the rear is the signature "Merlini 418". The sculpture originates from Milan, Italy. Registered shipping.
