This Contax II set, almost like new, comes from an interesting Zeiss collection. The body with the serial number E37309 is in excellent condition. The technology is perfect: well-running shutter with beautiful and straight blades, functioning self-timer and clear and accurate rangefinder. Cosmetically the set in very beautiful and virtually unused condition. Hardly any traces on chrome and paint. On the left a very small and barely visible tap (see figure). Leather is almost like new and... without Zeiss bumps! On the camera is an excellent chrome Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 5 cm/f 2.8 with serial number 1938470. Glass is free of scratches, fungus or separation. Only very light haze inside. Some small traces on the tube. Hard to find in this condition.
